Supply Chain Analyst, Nordics

Are you the driven Supply Chain Analyst who plans, monitors, and manages internal Supply Chain improvement projects from initiation through completion? Are you also analytical enough to think along and improve our logistics processes? Would you like to participate in international projects? Then we are looking for you.

Your level of education

You have a bachelor's/master's degree, preferably in the direction of Supply Chain or Business Administration. You have a sense of urgency and deadline oriented. You are operational and practical; you are fluent in one Scandinavian language and English.

Your work experiences

You have 4 to 6 years of work experience within Supply Chain. You have strong communication skills; a high drive and you enjoy getting the best results from existing and new relationships. Experience as project manager or specialist, including highly skilled in process optimization, stakeholder management and expectation management. If you are also used to work in complex supply chain projects, it is an advantage. You are very familiar with formal processes and tools to manage resources, budgets, risks, and changes. Furthermore, you have extensive Excel knowledge and the necessary financial skills.

Your role at Mediq

As a Supply Chain Analyst, you are responsible for project management of a broad range of Supply Chain projects internationally in warehousing, demand & supply planning, transport and/or system implementation. These could include warehouse reallocations, optimizations, transport tenders, stock level improvements and system related projects that impact the supply chain. You are also responsible for identifying, initiating, and defining supply chain projects that adds value to the Nordic Cluster and Mediq Group. Furthermore, you are responsible for monitoring, reporting and follow up of the Supply Chain performance of the Nordic cluster. As a spider in the net of the Supply Chain, you contribute to achieving Mediq's operational objective with regards to process, service, and cost optimization.

You are well aware of all facets and parameters that influence an effective and efficient Supply Chain operation. You have a detailed focus without losing the big picture. You have a proactive mindset and ensure adequate and relevant analyses and reports. You have knowledge of warehouse operation and stock management, and you are a team player. Furthermore, you are structured, analytical and result oriented.

Your tasks and powers are:

  • Plan, analyze, optimize, make recommendation, and implement improvement initiatives in collaboration with group and local supply chain
  • Coordinate, follow up and report on progress for improvement initiatives
  • Support and analyze impact of supply chain indirect sourcing activities
  • Facilitate best practice sharing across the countries
  • Support local Supply Chain in preparing business cases for strategic initiatives
  • Compile, analyze and report on supply chain performance of the Nordic cluster (Nordics, Baltics, and UK)
  • Support local Supply Chain in preparing business cases for strategic initiatives
  • Support local Supply Chain in preparing budget and related initiatives

What environment are you going to work in?

Mediq is an ambitious organization that is willing to invest in development. You will receive thorough guidance within your position. You are part of the Nordic Supply Chain LT and report to the Director Supply Chain Nordics, Baltics & UK.
