As HR Operations Specialist you will be responsible for handling HR administration tasks from A-Z. Activities may vary from day-to-day issues to long-term projects. The tasks include - but are not limited to - HR Policies and Procedures, employment law, employee Relations and administration.  Reporting to our HR Manager, Denmark, you will be providing important support to both employees and managers.

Main responsibilities

  • Be the local HR go-to-person on all matters regarding employment law and secure updated expertise on employment law.
  • Producing all types of employment related documents 
  • Owner of the HR admin process in connection with onboarding
  • Ensuring update & administration of HR policies and maintenance of the local employee handbook.
  • Guide managers on rules and legislation about maternity leave and long-term sickness.
  • Ensure high standards of compliance with the local employment law and legislation.
  • Monitor sickness and parental leave and assist with all types of administration tasks regarding the absence process.
  • Provide HR support to employees and managers in the absence of the HR manager.
  • Ensure all employee files are up to date (e.g. appraisal letters, training documents, contracts and addendums).
  • Maintain HR systems
  • Assist with arranging development and employee events.
  • Support the recruitment process with all types of administrative tasks. (Publish job post on career site, candidate contact via phone or mail, , rejections).
  • Produce short internal news for weekly newsletter, the intranet, LinkedIn (in co-operation with Marketing.
  • Support on actions regarding the yearly HR cycle (e.g. End Year Reviews and Salary review, roll-out of Engagement Survey and data input).
  • Contact person to external providers such as pension, payroll and health insurance suppliers.
  • Provide data and reports required by Group HR & HR Director, Nordics
  • Prepare data for monthly payroll processing

To be successful in the role, you will typically have most of these qualifications

We are looking for someone with a successful track record within HR process governance and/or service delivery, ideally also with experience in – and a passion for – HR compliance. You know your HR operational processes very well, and you always think one step ahead with a focus on constant improvement. You bring positive energy to the team and have the unique ability to take complexity out of projects, making them actionable.

The ideal profile is someone who has:

  • Vast experience HR administration & Danish Employment Law
  • An educational background preferably within HR (MSc in Human Resources, Business Administration, Graduate diploma (HD) in Organization and Management or other relevant university degree) - yet your approach to HR is pragmatic and hands-on
  • Resilient, outgoing, energetic and open to new challenges with “can-do-attitude”.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience from similar role
  • Have a good grasp of the yearly HR cycle and able to prioritize and keep deadlines.
  • Structured working, detail oriented and focus on keeping deadlines
  • Efficient, proactive and a hands-on approach.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Integrity and approachability. A confidential approach to matters of a private nature.
  • You are fluent in English verbally as well as written.
  • Superuser in MS Office
  • Insight into SuccessFactors is an advantage
